What are the key changes in DVS 2024?

The key changes in DVS 2024 are that ultrasonic VRU warning systems are no longer acceptable and qualifying vehicles will now require Moving Off Information Systems (MOIS) and Blind Spot Information Systems (BSIS). These systems provide active warnings to drivers of people, cyclists and other dangers in the front and nearside blind spots of the vehicle.

How can Fleet Focus help?

Fleet Focus can supply or supply, install and maintain complete DVS 2024 solutions or upgrades to existing DVS or FORS systems to meet the new standards. After extensive testing and customer feedback, we chose to use millimetre-wave radar technology for our MOIS and BSIS solutions.

What is the benefit of using radar technology?

Following extensive testing and customer feedback we chose radar technology because it fully complies with the TFL specification and offers the best value and experience for our customers. Radar technology is used by almost all vehicle manufacturers for R151 (BSIS) and R159 (MOIS) compliance because it is reliable, low maintenance, can operate in all conditions, and is highly accurate.

Are Fleet Focus systems fully compliant with DVS 2024?
